A TALE OF TWO CITIES

Signifficance-
This book shows a great number of diiferent emotions and different ways of writeing it shows courage bravery love and some what passion it shows a good and a bad relationg ship between not just to people but to places this book also shows a little about what we are going to study so it gives me a chance to really reflect on my soon to be learning even before i learn, thats why i think this book is important.

Perspective-
I thought the author was a good wrighter he showed many emotions and also showed how easy it is to do so this book has its good parts and its ok but overall i recomend it one of my favorite parts was when charles is accused of tresion (more in connection). Overall this book is great because of the way the author wrote.

Evidense-
In this book you can already tell that the author wants the book to show great meanings for example and i quote "Lorry assures Lucie that her love and devotion can recall her father to life, and indeed they do." what do you think is going on inside the authors mind? Well i think that the authors point was to keep you guessing at the same time as your sure of the situation.

Connection-
Like in perspective one of my favorite parts was when charles was acused for tresion becasue as he gets in trouble or we think alot of people get into this problem and connect to his case maybe defending or causing more havic inside this big adventure. I think charles conects to me because haveing friends when your acccused is a good thing to have and that happens alot to me.

Supposition-
something that could of changed was the way the author told the story so if he were to change just a little part he would pretty much destroy the story in generel becasue every part of the story is important to be included. And if a part is taken out the story would seem bad

Red Badge Of Courage

Signifficance-
This book is important because it shows even the smallest bit of bravery or courage can get you very far. Henry's reason for going into war was for honor, but when he ran away that showed himself he was doing the oppiset of what he really wanted to do. This book is valuable because it really makes you under stand a whole different side in life , for example sometimes we think life is a breeze but when you think really deep you'll notice its wrong for something we do.

Perspective-
The author of this book i thought was a great writer he really showed me hwo life works how people in civil times are treated how the act how the talk and even how the fight or get ready for battle. I thought this authors style was really effective he made something simple into a big deal

Evidence-
In this book you can already tell that henry's point of veiw in life is simple he needs bravery, It seems henry is a really simple boy but you can tell inside of him he is a very mixed man inside of him you see a person who is lacking bravery is alot of mouth but he is already to learn and help people anyway he can (thats easy, or wont cost him anything)

Connection-
I think this Henry relates to me because he said he wanted a red badge of courage but ended up running away, And somtimes for example when i first started learning how to skate i already asumed that droping in a half pipe would be really easy but as i got closer i staretd to have some second thoughts.

Suposition-
something that could of changed was Henrys fear if he didnt run away he could of been a hero auto matically and this story wouldnt really happen, Another thing that could of changed was his way of talking he just made himself much more afiaird when he started talking to people if he didnt do this he would of been ready for battle.

DR. Jeckle and Mr. Hyde by ROBERT LOUIS STEVENSON

Significance-
this book matters because it shows how your bad side can get to you literally. It shows how dr. jeckle is a good person but when somthing gose not as planned he freaks out or over reacts. This book is valuable because its a original story, its a good book because of the authors languge also.

Perspective-
this book was good, it was a mix between horror sci fi and drama. It shows good relation ships with jeckle and hyde though he is the same person it shows a dark side of a great doctor. I recommend this book to people who like to read things with lots of fighting or "beating up."

Evidense-
You can tell that dr. jeckle had a good run learning more about himself a bit, and being chased you can tell that if he lived then he would of learned a lot about how to counter act these kind of things maybe stop him self from getting out of control getting crazy.

Connection-
This book connects to me because there is two sides to dr. jeckle lets just say good and bad and to me theres the weird and the serious even thought they change often its always the same person and since its the same person people will think of me of the way i act. so what im saying is if u act supid thats the way people will treat you.

Suposition-
Something that could of changed was dr jeckle could have shared the potion to poepl and maybe start a viris or and this new race would start killing m poeple angry and confused.

"ENDERS GAME"- BY ORSON SCOTT CARD

Significance-
This book matters because it shows how strong you can be if you just try your hardest. Also it shows that sometimes you just really needs friends to help you work things out. this book is valuable because of the way the author uses this time to show all these different emotions. it shows that these little kids even our age can do something (even though this is kinda in the future or sci-fi).

Perspective-
This book was created by Orson Scott Card in my apinion great artist i say artist because hes work was more like apainting you can pretty much understand it once you look at it (i recomend this book). In my perspective i think the biggest problem was the begining when he was just trying to figure things out and just get ready for the hardship in the future.

Evidence-
In this book you can already tell that ender is going to be a great soilder well by the each teacher or comander are very confedent in him, well not just the teachers ender himself as well. you can also see that ender is strong and smart well at least more then is fellow launches. im not looking for evidence just for my argument but i am looking for evidence that helpsme more understand the book more because in some parts it just doesnt make sense sometimes.

Connection-
This work connects to one of my family memners becuase this person never really gives up, and my family member never gives up even if time or people isnt always there. Both of them always find a way. This story connects to other books i read like the outsiders because it shows aboys confedence in finding his or her goal, this also connects to our class book "the Alchemist" because ender is kinding finding a personal legend himself.

Supposition- Something that could of changed this perice was if his sisterwould have never left him for school maybe he wouldnt have gone and this story might of never happened. I predict that Ender will become a great leader in battle but with great campanions along his side

"As the Red Fern Grows" by Wilson Rawls

significance:

Well this book is about a boy and his relationship with his dogs/family its valuable because it shows that if you really care for someone youll keep your promises and always be there for them. I care or this peice because of the way it has problem after problem after problem it shows how horrible his life gets wich was like a lure to get us to a happy and at the same time sad ending. In this book the main character was Billy he was a regualr farm boy who really wanted some dogs to coon hunt with. so he finds enouph money to buy a pair of dogs by selling fish bait and fruits to fishermen, so his grandpa orders them for him.

Perspective:

In this book it really didnt have a good side or a bad side till the end/climaxe well there are these two boys in the book with the names of ruben and rainie pritchard. They betted that little billys dogs couldnt catch the legendary ghost coon. so the prichard boys and billy went on a hunt for the ghost coon it was long but finally the prichard boys decided to give up but billy refused to stop just before the dogs had treed the coon, ruben started beeting up billy because he didnt want to kill her so at the same time billys dogs atacks the prichards dogs and ended up witha massive dog fight in between the fight ruben goes to attack billys dogs but ends up killing himself withhis own axe.

So in this part of the book billy was the good side just trying to prove them wrong

and the bad side was the prichard boys

evidence:

In this book it shows alot of parts that mean something weather it may be a meataphour or just plain out life. This book has some good parts that mean somethings that help you understand the charcters well you can tell that old dan is brave like they said because of the way he always gets into bad situations like getting his head stuck ina trench or getting stuck in a tree. you can tell that little anne is smart because of the way she doeasnt get in trouble and always has a good way of finding what their looking for.

I like the way the author slowly enters data into our head by using challenges and obsatcles.

Connection:

There are two parts in my book that kinda really effect each other. At the end there was a giant coon contest that billy was entered in with his dogs. In between the contest his dogs get lost but Billy and his grandpa eventually find them in ice but at the same time have gathered enouph coons to win the tournement they resieve 300 dallars as prize money. But old dan was badly hurt after a day of trying to keep him alive old dan dies but then little anne dies right after her heart broken.

So these parts all connect

Supposistion:

This book would be totally different if you changed it it would lose its way of showing how bad billy had it. and it would actually kill the grasp of the book .so if you were to change the setting then they probaly wouldnt coon hunt wich led his dogs to die and no red fern, and obiesly if you change the animal specias then no one that read this book would understand it most likely.

"Outsiders-by SE Hinton"

Significanse-

this book is valuable because of what the author is trying to send out to the world. I thought she was trying to show how bad life can get and how much better it can get. She also told her readers dont waiste your life you never know when your lie will end.. In the book the "Greasers" have a total rage our rivalry with the "Socs". The main character was Ponyboy who was struggling to ind the good things in life. I cared about this piece because of the way the Greasers cared about each other even if they Cared in a weird way.

Perspective-

In this book your focus is on the "Greasers" the Brutal, poor, North side of the city. I thought they were the side that always liked to live on the edge people. But of course there always has to be one oddball out of the different greasers... Ponyboy while the normal Greaser would care about a girl and a car Pony boy was the kind of guy that was a book reade type wich came in handy when he was hdeing away with Johny because of a previous Murder.

So on the other side of town was the "Socs" The Socs are the south side part of the city wich is the rich and wealthy pretty much the almost oppisate side of the Greasers.

Evidence-

This book has good and bad parts like when PonyBoy and Johny take on Socs and win. This shows how much Johny cares for PonyBoy because hes willing to fight and risk his life for a good friend. I think the author is trying to Show how bad some people had their lives and how good others were. In the book the Greasers got it bad because one they might have to share and or steal to get what they need and two they might have bad families because of the way their neiborhood is. But on the other hand there are the Socs wich they have good lives because 1 they have new cars new things and more expensive and two they just got it good, and everyone seems to like them.

Connection-

In the book Pony and Johny took a walk finding Socs in their way The Socs tried to beat them up and torch Pony as much as they could but As touph as Pony tried to be he couldnt fight for himself but luckly his buddy Johny was ready for battle took out a knife and scared them all of acsept one the dead one but because of that murder Johny and Pony Had to hide away to make sure they wouldnt get casupht. So these parts of the book link into each other.

Supposition-

If you changed this book into a different situation I dont think anything would really change becasue in the story they stould for each other no matter what even if they were scared to death. If the greasers and the socs never got into the fight at the end they would always have a rivalry but since it did happen at least they both understand eachother now.
